ORDERS & SHIPPING

Where do you ship from?

Every Arab Hyphenated™ piece is made to order. Our designs begin in our Istanbul studio, where our all-women creative team sketches, curates, and brings each idea to life. From there, we partner with carefully selected print-on-demand providers across the United States (and internationally for certain products) to print, embroider, and stitch each item to order before shipping directly to you.

Why might my order arrive in more than one package?

Because we work with a network of specialized partners— each chosen for their craft in different product types (embroidery, apparel, accessories, homeware)— items are sometimes fulfilled separately. This means your pieces may arrive in more than one package, on different days, and in different packaging. This is normal — and ensures your products are made by the best supplier for that craft.

How long does shipping take?

Production: 2–5 business days.

U.S. Delivery:

• Economy: 4–8 business days

• Standard: 2–5 business days

International Delivery: 10–30 business days (where available).

During peak times and holidays, allow for slight delays. You’ll always receive a tracking number once your order is on its way.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — many of our products do ship globally. Availability depends on the fulfillment partner for each product. If an item is eligible for international shipping, the option will appear at checkout.

Note on International Shipping Charges: International orders may be subject to the customs duty & import procedures of the destination country and therefore the total cost of shipping cannot be estimated at checkout. We accept no responsibility for import/customs charges on international orders.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Free shipping is automatically applied on U.S. orders over $200 and up to $400 (before tax and discounts). Order over International orders do not qualify for free shipping at this time.

How are shipping rates calculated?

Shipping costs are based on the products in your cart, the fulfillment locations, and the carrier chosen by our partners. If your order includes items from multiple partners, you may see multiple shipping charges. Rates are shown at checkout before you pay.

How can I track my order?

You’ll receive tracking emails once each package ships. You may receive more than one tracking number if your order ships from multiple locations. You can also log into your account anytime to view status updates.

Do you have a physical store?

Not yet. Our U.S. mailing address is for correspondence only — all purchases are online. Our main headquarters and design studio are in Istanbul. If you’re ever in town, reach out and say hello.

• Free shipping code applies to orders where international shipping rates are below $15 USD (based on your region).

• Customs duties or VAT (where applicable) are not included in this promo. You will be responsible for this.

RETURNS & ISSUES

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

All Arab Hyphenated™ pieces are made to order and final sale. We cannot accept returns or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged or defective.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We’ll make it right. Contact us within 3 days of delivery at hello@arabhyphenated.com with your order number, photos of the damage, and a brief note. We’ll guide you through next steps.

Can I exchange sizes?

No. All items are custom-made to order and cannot be re-stocked. Use our detailed size charts before purchasing, or email us for sizing advice at hello@arabhyphenated.com.

 

PRODUCTS & SIZING

What size should I get?

Most, if not all, product pages includes a detailed size chart. If a chart is not included, please contact us at hello@arabhyphenated.com and we will help you find the right fit.

If you prefer a relaxed fit, we recommend sizing up. Need a second opinion? Email us at hello@arabhyphenated.com— we’re happy to help.

Are your products ethically made?

Yes. We partner with providers who share our values: fair labor, ethical production, and minimized waste. Every item reflects a balance of craft and conscience.

How do I care for my items?

Most apparel should be washed cold, inside-out. Hang to dry or tumble low. Embroidery and prints are designed to last — treat them with care, and they’ll live with you for years. Full care instructions are included on every product page.

GIFT CARDS & DISCOUNTS

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes. Arab Hyphenated™ digital gift cards are available instantly and never expire. They make the perfect last-minute gift.

Where do I enter discount codes?

You’ll find a promo code field at checkout. Sometimes, discounts are automatically applied if you’ve signed in.

Can I use a gift card and discount together?

Yes. Gift cards act like payment, while discounts apply to product totals.

Gift card policy reminder:

Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, and may not be used to purchase additional gift cards (except where required by law). Always protect your gift card codes. If something feels suspicious, trust your instincts — and report scams to the New York State Division of Consumer Protection (800)-697-1220 | dos.ny.gov).

Do you offer shipping discounts?

Yes. Orders between $200 and $400 automatically receive free shipping — even when using a discount code. 

TAXES & DUTIES (International Orders)

Do you collect taxes and duties for international orders?

• U.S. orders: Sales tax is collected where required.

• International orders: Arab Hyphenated does not collect VAT, GST, or import duties at checkout. These charges may be applied by your local customs office and are the customer’s responsibility.

Note: If you refuse delivery due to unpaid duties/taxes, the order will not be refunded.

How does the points system work?

We believe loyalty deserves love. For every $1 spent, you earn 1 point.

100 points = $5 off

200 points = $10 off

300 points = $15 off
